This is a file photo taken off the web (not my shot) to show the relationship between the falls. This pretty much the view we had from our hotel room.
Views of Niagara Falls from our hotel room. Looking at the American (Niagara) Falls.
Looking at the American (Niagara) Falls from our hotel room. The small falls at the right is Bridal Vail Falls.
There are 3 falls that make up Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls American side; Bridal Vail Falls; Niagara Falls Canadian side, also known as Horseshoe Falls.

Watch out for gull droppings.
The Niagara River...class "6" rapid.
It's illegal to run these rapids. Prosecution is assured assuming you survive.
People fish from the rock shelf across the river, but if you fall in, you don't survive. You get pulled into a whirlpool that sucks you down 200 feet and then "maybe" spits you back out.
The Niagara River making a 90 degree turn. The whirlpool doesn't look like much, but no one has ever survived if caught in it.

We're not going to show all of them...
